Vision inspection systems
Modular inspection platforms designed for real production environments.
SSI offers standardized vision inspection platforms built to adapt to a wide range of industrial applications. Our vision inspection platforms are designed as modular products, not one-off machines, allowing customers to scale inspection capability without redesigning their process.
Our vision systems support inspection, identification, verification, and traceability using industry-proven vision and scanning technologies.
Vision Stand
Single-side or top-down inspection platform for verification, identification, and targeted checks.
- Single inspection face (standard)
- Configurable camera, scanner, or sensor mounting
- Integrated lighting solutions
- PLC-controlled system with HMI interface
The Vision Stand is the base platform for future expansion into a Vision Tunnel.
Vision Tunnel
Multi-side inspection platform for continuous-motion applications that require more coverage.
- Multi-side inspection from 1 side up to full surround coverage
- Supports vision inspection, barcode reading, or mixed sensing
- Modular mechanical structure adaptable to many layouts
- PLC and HMI-based control architecture
IVT In‑Line Vision Tunnel
In-line multi-camera inspection tunnel for packaged goods at production line speeds. Configurable tracking and reject handling, with standard pass/fail logging and CSV export.
Multi-Sided Thread Inspection Sort System
Multi-view vision inspection for external thread damage at production line speeds. Coverage and inspection logic are configured to the part and acceptance criteria, with pass/fail outputs for sorting workflows.
Easy Reader Control Console
Standalone console for barcode/QR verification with simple setup and clear HMI feedback. Provides pass/fail outputs for alarms, line stops, or reject actions, with standard logging and CSV export.
Pack and Track Station
Operator-guided packing station that verifies order contents using barcode, weight, and/or vision checks before an order can be completed. Includes standard pass/fail logging and CSV export; label printing and system integration are scoped to your workflow (optional where required).
Watch Dog Station
Compact verification station that checks part size and/or weight against a scanned traveler or work order. Provides clear operator pass/fail feedback with standard logging and CSV export; label printing and integrations are scoped to your workflow (optional where required).
Vision Stand – Single-Side Inspection Platform
The Vision Stand is a standalone inspection system designed for single-side or top-down vision applications. It provides a compact, flexible solution for inspection, verification, and identification tasks where full multi-side coverage is not required.
The Vision Stand also serves as the base platform for future expansion into a Vision Tunnel.
Typical applications
- Presence / absence inspection
- Dimensional checks
- Print and label verification
- Barcode and data reading
- Offline inspection or inline sampling
Core characteristics
- Single inspection face (standard)
- Configurable camera, scanner, or sensor mounting
- Integrated lighting solutions
- PLC-controlled system with HMI interface
- Designed for industrial environments
Expandability
The Vision Stand is engineered so it can be upgraded into a Vision Tunnel when additional inspection coverage is required. This allows customers to start with a simple system and expand without replacing the entire platform.
Vision Tunnel – Multi-Side Inspection Platform
The Vision Tunnel is a modular, multi-side inspection system designed to inspect products as they pass through a defined inspection zone. It enables reliable inspection, identification, and verification from multiple sides without stopping or rotating the product.
The Vision Tunnel uses the same core architecture as the Vision Stand, expanded to support additional inspection faces.
Key capabilities
- Multi-side inspection from 1 side up to full surround coverage
- Supports vision inspection, barcode reading, or mixed sensing
- Designed for continuous-motion applications
- Modular mechanical structure adaptable to many layouts
- PLC and HMI-based control architecture
Inspection coverage
- Standard configurations: 1–3 sides
- Expanded configurations: up to 6 sides
- Custom configurations: full surround coverage available when required
Coverage is defined by the application and inspection goals, not by a fixed product limitation.
